Cold Storage

Our state-of-the-art cooler warehouses allow us to store and ship fresh grades of horseradish root all year round.

J. R. Kelly Company has two state-of-the-art cooler warehouses, which provide over 12,500 square feet of cold storage.

The temperature is kept at 28 degrees Fahrenheit (-2.2 degrees Celsius), which helps prevent sprouting and molding of the horseradish. Each cooler is equipped with pallet racking to maximize cooling capabilities and provide more efficient cooling of the horseradish. The warehouses are frequently inspected to ensure our high standards of quality and freshness.
