Horseradish Packaging

   J. R. Kelly Company is now offering individually-wrapped and labeled clean horseradish roots. This new packaging technique will reduce shrinkage of the root and extend the shelf-life of the product. The label includes the PLU, nutrition facts and preparation instructions for the consumer. J. R. Kelly Company also packs horseradish in many different ways, depending on the grade of the root. Wild Root and Trimmings are packed in a 1200 lb. cube on a 40x48 pallet with waxed cardboard trays on the bottom.

The cube is stretch wrapped and sealed at the top. Wild Root and Trimmings can also be packaged in 100 lb. bags. Field Run and No. 2 roots are packaged in 50 lb. polyurethane-lined burlap bags. We will pack in 100 lb. bags upon request.  No. 1 roots are packed in 50 lb. polyurethane-lined burlap bags.

They can also be packed in 5 lb. and 10 lb. bags and put into a 50 lb. master if requested.
